NYP United Against Racism
Thousands of people peacefully protested the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, and others, demonstrating their commitment to anti-racism and to ending police brutality and systemic racism across the US.
In June, we invited everyone across the NewYork-Presbyterian community to join together in observing 9 minutes of silence in allegiance with White Coats for Black Lives.
Beyond this observance, NYP – with your help and with your input – is committed to having the discussions, to take the actions needed to fight against racial bias, to be a leader in the effort to move our country towards fairness and justice, beginning with our own organization and in our own communities. View our new Anti-Racism, Allyship, and Juneteenth Resources Page, where we are sharing information and tools with all employees to support meaningful conversations, self-reflection, and anti-racist actions across NYP.
